Position: LPN (License Practical Nurse) or CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) Department: Clinic Nursing Location: Glencoe, MN Remote Work: No Position Type: Full time Hours Per 2-week Pay Period: 64-72 (candidate preference) Shift: Days Schedule: Monday-Friday Weekend Rotation: N/A Holiday Rotation: N/A Position Summary: Under the direction of a physician, advanced practice provider or Registered Nurse, the LPN’s and CMA’s are part of the Clinic Nursing Staff (CNS) who work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team by performing clinical and administrative duties in the delivery of care to our patients in an ambulatory setting. Focusing on patient centered care, Clinic Nursing Staff will be knowledgeable in and perform care within all clinical areas including but not limited to family practice, OB/Gyn, pediatrics, internal medicine, podiatry, nephrology, orthopedics, and urology. Qualifications: Education and Licensure LPN
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, possess a current license from the State of Minnesota and be in good standing.
- Must be a graduate from an accredited medical assistant program and possess a current certification as a Certified (AAMA) or Registered (AMT) Medical Assistant from the State of Minnesota.
- Must maintain certification throughout employment at Glencoe Regional Health
- Current BLS certification.
- Possess a strong, effective, and open communication skillset.
- Ability to function independently, possess flexibility and adaptability, personal integrity, and can work effectively with staff and the patient population served.
- Be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork and team concept.
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm, a strong customer focus as well as a willingness to handle difficult patients.
- Demonstrate skills and knowledge necessary to provide appropriate patient care.
- Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Prior Family Medicine or OB/women's health experience helpful.
- Strong computer skillset required. Candidate must be proficient in Windows-based computer systems. Epic EMR experience helpful.
