Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, carpets, windows, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques
- Handle chemical agents safely
- Maintain cleanliness of all assigned areas according to company standards and client specifications
- Ensure the proper storage and disposal of cleaning chemicals in accordance with environmental services guidelines
Requirements
- Proven janitorial or commercial cleaning experience with knowledge of environmental services best practices
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely and responsibly while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines
- Strong manual handling skills with the physical ability to lift heavy objects regularly
- Experience in floor care techniques such as waxing, refinishing, buffing, and tile or grout cleaning
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients or staff
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to commercial cleaning operations
