Cleaning Staff Member

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cleaning Staff Member to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure a hygienic, organized, and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and clients alike. Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting all designated areas such as offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces.
• Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely according to established protocols to ensure effective sanitation without compromising safety.
• Maintain cleanliness standards by inspecting work areas regularly and addressing any issues promptly to uphold facility appearance and hygiene standards.
• Follow all safety protocols related to chemical handling, equipment operation, and manual handling procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding courteously to staff or visitor inquiries related to cleanliness or facility maintenance needs.
• Support sanitation efforts during special cleaning projects or after events to ensure spaces are restored quickly and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with a strong understanding of commercial or industrial cleaning practices is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures and proper use of cleaning equipment is a plus but not required..
• Familiarity with sanitation standards, facilities maintenance, and general custodial responsibilities is a plus but not required..
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards across diverse environments.
• Strong communication skills coupled with customer service orientation to effectively interact with staff and visitors.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings while maintaining high safety standards.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
