GLD is a scaled, culture-forward jewelry brand entering its next phase of ecommerce maturity.
We’re hiring a Vice President of Ecommerce to be the operator and intellectual hub of our digital commerce engine — owning website performance, lifecycle (email/SMS), and marketplaces, and helping evolve how brand and performance work together.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves the details, thrives in fast, collaborative problem-solving, and knows how to turn rigor into results. You’ll work closely with the CEO and senior leaders on real tradeoffs that directly impact growth and long-term value.
If you prefer managing from a distance or operating at 30,000 feet, this role will not be the right fit.
What You’ll Own
Ecommerce Performance & Conversion
- Own site performance with a focus on conversion, funnel efficiency, and experimentation
- Increase testing velocity and raise the bar on data-driven decision making
- Evaluate UX changes, plugins, and features with discipline — balancing upside, speed, complexity, and long-term health
- Help reduce promo dependence over time without disrupting topline momentum
Website & UX
- Lead continuous improvement of the site experience in a high-volume Shopify environment
- Partner closely with frontend developers to ship, test, learn, and iterate quickly
- Help evolve the site to be more brand-forward while maintaining strong performance
Lifecycle (Email & SMS)
- Lead lifecycle marketing with emphasis on new customer conversion and early lifecycle optimization
- Pressure-test flows, segmentation, testing plans, and measurement
- Ensure lifecycle supports growth without becoming overly promotional or brand-dilutive
Marketplaces
- Own marketplaces as a profitable growth pillar
- Manage a marketplace leader with clear accountability to revenue and margin
- Expand thoughtfully into new platforms as opportunity warrants
Leadership & Collaboration
- Directly manage senior ecommerce leaders across site, lifecycle, and marketplaces
- Operate deeply in the details while maintaining senior-level judgment
- Be comfortable debating ideas, pressure-testing assumptions, and changing course with data
- Partner closely with brand, analytics, marketing, and operations leaders

Compensation

Salary : $200,000 - $240,000
