What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Analyst position at GLD?
The Logistics Analyst supports warehouse and logistics operations by managing key system transactions, tracking inbound shipments, maintaining inventory documentation, and producing operational reports. This role reports directly to the Director of Operations and helps maintain accuracy, visibility, and follow-through across key operational workflows.
Core Responsibilities
• Process item receipts, assembly builds, work orders, and inventory adjustments in applicable systems.
• Track inbound shipments and coordinate with vendors, carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to resolve delays, missing documentation, carrier exceptions, and customs clearance issues.
• Investigate and help resolve receiving discrepancies, shipment delays, missing paperwork, and inventory-related issues.
• Prepare scheduled and ad hoc reports to support logistics, inventory, and warehouse operations.
• Maintain process documentation for logistics, labeling, inventory transactions, and reporting workflows.
• Communicate issues, delays, and exceptions clearly to the appropriate internal teams.
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Logistics Analyst or similar logistics, inventory, or operations support role.
• Previous experience working with ERP, OMS, and WMS systems.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including reporting, data cleanup, and basic analysis.
• Familiarity with inbound shipment tracking, customs clearance, and shipment documentation.
• Experience working with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with inventory, logistics, and operational data.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills with internal teams and external partners.
• Ability to stay organized, manage open issues, and support multiple operational priorities.
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
