About this role
Glatt Air Techniques is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to sell our equipment technologies and related services across an assigned territory. The role involves 25–30% overnight travel within the U.S. & Canada, plus 25–40% local travel, with occasional international trips. The manager will represent Glatt at trade shows and industry events and must hold a valid driver’s license and passport.
Responsibilities
- Sell Glatt equipment, retrofits, and related services to existing and prospective accounts.
- Manage the full sales cycle—from initial inquiry and technical/commercial discussions through proposal, negotiation, and order placement.
- Build and maintain relationships with decision makers in development, manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, and technical services.
- Identify new leads through networking, trade shows, and customer visits.
- Guide the development of proposals and quotations with technical staff from your input with the customer; ensure commercial terms meet company policies.
- Present Glatt technologies to customers and at trade shows or seminars.
- Collaborate with internal departments and international sales teams to support customer needs and project management.
- Submit expense reports per company guidelines.
- Provide market trend and competitive feedback to sales management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: B.S. in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of sales experience—capital equipment or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong technical aptitude and excellent communication/organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Office, MS Excel and CRM/ERP tools.
- Time management and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Personable, self-motivated, assertive, and a team player.
