The Cultivation Assistant Labor Manager is responsible for supporting the Cultivation labor team in overseeing the day-to-day operations of all cultivation area. This position is also responsible for ensuring the Cultivation processes run efficiently and comply with company protocols, standards and Sop’s. This role involves leadership, organization and close collaboration with other departments

- Assist in managing daily operations of the Cultivation Greenhouse, including scheduling, staffing, and task assignments.
- Prepare and review weekly work plan with Cultivation supervisors.
- Ensure all jobs are completed with the correct quality specs.
- Create a supervisory schedule to cover all weekly jobs.
- Enforce quality standards for all crop work.
- Train and supervise Cultivation staff to ensure the best practices are followed.
- Work with all teams to improve work efficiency and quality to reduce costs.
- Review and monitor weekly efficiency reports.
- Report back to the labor Cultivation manager for any quality issues found in daily observations.
- Work closely with the cultivation and nursery teams to ensure smooth plant transitions and scheduling.
- Ensure all areas follow all metric requirements to be compliant.
- Track employee time on time clock system.
- Must have aptitude to carry out administrative tasks such as reports, etc.
- Use required PPE according to OSHA regulations.
- Create a safe work environment to avoid injuries to employees. Report any accident and incident reports to safety and HR departments.
- Follow up with maintenance to resolve any issues with equipment.
- Support the implementation of new technologies, SOPs, and efficiency improvements.

Education And/or Experience
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a greenhouse environment
- At least 2-3-years’ experience in a supervisory role
- Must be 21 years old.
- Flexible availability of work hours
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
- Ability to efficiently collect and report data.
- Capable of effectively utilizing employee strengths to complete daily and weekly tasks.
- Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Requires prioritization and multi-tasking.
- Plans and organize tasks and work responsibilities to achieve objectives.
- Understand budget and goals.
- Able to direct employees, assess the amount of work that needs to be done daily and create a daily schedule for employees.
- Must be extremely flexible in the case of upper management decisions, and able to change plans on the flight.
- Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Must be a self-start work independently and direct team.
- Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- This position requires a 40-hour minimum work week.
- Willingness to work weekends and be on call for emergencies.
