Bookkeeper/Accountant (Hybrid)

Glass and Associates provides Accounting and Full Charge Bookkeeping for Clients in Central Maryland. We are currently looking for an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to work at various Client locations in and around Northern Baltimore County.

This position is a hybrid position - both onsite (at Clients) and remote. THIS IS NOT a fully remote position. Reliable transportation is required.

This position is estimated to be 12-15 hours per week.

To be considered for this position you must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Bookkeeper and/or Accountant and 5 years using QuickBooks Online. QuickBooks certification is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• A/P and A/R Entry
• Bank Reconciliations, including Credit Cards and Investment Accounts
• Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations
• Payroll and Payroll Review Assistance
• Journal Entries and Month/Quarter/Year-End Closings
• Financial Analysis of Transactions
• Financial Statement Preparation
• Budget Preparation
• Cash Flow Statements Preparation
• Maintain accurate financial records for each client handled

Qualifications and Skills:

• 5 years of QuickBooks Online experience
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Have a good understanding of GAAP
• Have a very good knowledge of Excel
• Be an independent worker but can work with a team
• Be self-disciplined, organized, and attentive to details
• Be reliable and able to maintain a weekly schedule to support various Clients
