Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Sales Associate to join our team onsite in our new showroom in Glenn Cove, Long Island. The Sales Associate will provide exceptional customer service to walk-in clients, presenting and recommending products, setting up in-home consultations, and guiding them through the customization process. This role involves building and maintaining client relationships, managing sales transactions, handling inquiries, and coordinating with the design and production team to meet customer needs. The Sales Associate will also assist with showroom maintenance, product displays, and updating inventory details as needed.
Qualifications
- Sales and Customer Service skills, including the ability to engage with clients, provide solutions, and build positive relationships
- Communication and Interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written abilities
- Organizational and Time Management skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritize customer needs, and manage order details
- Knowledge of design, fabric materials, and/or experience in interior decoration or relevant fields is highly desirable but not mandatory as long as willing to learn.
- Proficiency with basic computer software such as Microsoft Office or POS systems
- Experience in retail or luxury goods industries is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in sales or design is a bonus
- A positive, professional attitude with a proactive and results-driven approach
