Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Grading Superintendent to join our team. This on-site role, based in North Dakota. It will involve overseeing grading operations, managing project schedules, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and supervising a crew to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope. The Grading Superintendent will also operate heavy equipment, coordinate with subcontractors, monitor equipment usage, and provide regular progress updates to project management.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and oversee construction teams.
- Experience in grading operations, highway heavy operations, box culvert construction, crew supervision.
- Knowledge of construction equipment and tools required for grading and earthwork projects.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to ensure smooth coordination and reporting.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents, plans, and specifications.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in construction sites.
- Ability to adapt and solve problems in high-pressure situations while maintaining project timelines.
- Prior experience with heavy civil construction is an advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training is a plus.
