Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Golf Cart Mechanic / Electrical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on electrical repair experience, and the ability to diagnose and repair golf cart systems efficiently.
This position involves working on electric and gas golf carts, battery systems, wiring repairs, roof repairs, and general maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair golf cart electrical and mechanical issues
- Use multimeters to troubleshoot batteries, chargers, wiring, and controllers
- Perform soldering and electrical wiring repairs
- Repair and replace golf cart roofs and body components
- Service battery electrical systems, including testing, installation, and maintenance
- Inspect motors, solenoids, switches, and controllers
- Complete preventive maintenance and safety inspections
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Communicate repair recommendations clearly with customers and management
Requirements
- Experience working on golf carts or similar electric vehicles
- Strong knowledge of battery electrical systems
- Proficient with multimeters and electrical diagnostics
- Experience with soldering and wiring repair
- Ability to repair golf cart roofs and structural components
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a shop environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Golf cars Mechanical maintenance
- Knowledge of lithium battery systems
- Welding or fabrication experience is a plus
