GL Staffing is seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in Hialeah, FL. The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of forklift experience, including unloading full trailers and placing inventory into pallet racking. This position requires strong warehouse skills, attention to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Hialeah, FL
Pay Rate: $22.00- 25.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Safely operate electric forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move inventory.
- Unload full trailers and receive incoming truckloads.
- Put away inventory and organize products in pallet racking.
- Assist with installing and organizing warehouse racking.
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Stack and organize products onto pallets and secure shipments using stretch wrap.
- Perform basic forklift maintenance and follow proper battery charging procedures.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and inventory-handling guidelines.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of forklift operating experience.
- Proven experience unloading full trailers and placing inventory into pallet racking.
- Ability to safely operate an electric forklift and pallet jack.
- Must speak English
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, order picking, packing, and shipping.
- Understanding of forklift safety, basic maintenance, and battery charging.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
