Role Purpose
As a specialist within the assigned commodity, you will assess potential new suppliers, develop existing suppliers, and lead CI/VAVE activities. You will ensure compliance with DAUCH and automotive standards (IATF 16949, etc.), guaranteeing that all supplied products meet agreed specifications. You will also build a network of internal stakeholders to foster collaboration, performance, and long-term supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance Testing Design: Validate new and existing quality assurance test methods and procedures.
- Quality Assurance Testing: Execute complex tests and interpret data to ensure specifications are met.
- Quality Management System: Support the design, development, and documentation of QMS policies and processes.
- Improvement/Innovation: Identify process improvements and contribute to change management programs.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and address stakeholder needs to support effective communication.
- Operational Compliance: Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory codes.
- Information & Business Advice: Provide guidance to internal/external customers on complex processes.
- Document Preparation: Draft and edit materials tailored to diverse audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of machining, metal forming, stamping, and die casting.
- Experience approving PPAPs with metal-mechanical suppliers.
- Experience conducting audits and strong knowledge of IATF 16949 requirements.
