Job Description:
We are seeking a driven, self-motivated Outside Sales Representative who thrives in the field and takes full ownership of the sales process—from prospecting to close. This role is 100% outside sales and requires the ability to generate your own leads through networking, cold outreach, referrals, and territory development.
This position is ideal for a hunter mentality sales professional who prefers autonomy, accountability, and uncapped earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
· Prospecting: Identify and qualify potential customers through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
· Sales Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase our roofing solutions.
· Customer Needs Assessment: Understand customer requirements and provide suitable roofing solutions.
· Sales Proposals: Prepare and deliver accurate sales proposals and quotes.
· Follow-Up: Follow up on leads, inquiries, and sales opportunities to close deals.
· Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
· Sales Targets: Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
· Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
· Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
Qualifications:
· Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
· Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably in the roofing, construction, or related industries.
· Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Attributes: Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and customer-focused.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Knowledge of roofing materials, products, and installation processes.
· Experience in B2B and B2C sales.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
