Role Description
This is a part-time, unpaid, hybrid role based in Austin, TX, for a Communications Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting and distributing press releases, developing and managing strategic communications, maintaining media relations, and producing high-quality social media content. You will also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and effectively promote GivePower UT's initiatives.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, Journalism, Film, or another related field
- Proven experience in crafting compelling Press Releases and impactful Writing
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite Figma
- Proficient in Social Media Management (X, LinkedIn, Instagram)
