ABOUT THIS ROLE
The GivePower Collegiate Branch at The University of Texas is seeking a strategic thinker to join as our Communications Strategy Officer. You will play a leading role in shaping how our chapter tells its story — developing a cohesive communications framework that aligns with GivePower's global mission and amplifies our collegiate impact.
Responsibilities
- Design communication strategy for media campaigns
- Create content calendars, messaging strategies, and campaign frameworks
- Work closely with Senior Vice President of Operations and President
- Identify key audiences (students, donors, media, NGOs) and tailor outreach plans
What we're looking for
- Student with a background in strategic communications, public relations, or related
- Experience developing social media strategy or media campaigns
- Ability to think big-picture strategy, while designing and executing on specific deliverables
- Strong research capabilities and organization skills
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
