Givens Communities is looking for a Human Resources Assistant to provide administrative and system support for our team. This is an on site position, primarily based at our Black Mountain campus, Givens Highland Farms, with moderate travel required to support our Asheville campus, Givens Estates.
What you'll do:
- Scan, name, upload/file, and maintain Team Member files in accordance with company and legal guidelines
- Assist with initial new hire clinical credentialing and ongoing license, certification, and credential verification
- Schedule, track, and conduct pre-employment, post-offer screenings for new Team Members
- Coordinate and monitor the entire onboarding experience through the HRIS system and scheduling orientation for designated campuses
- Complete I-9s and E-Verify processing for all new hires, ensuring compliance across designated divisions
- Assist with planning and organizing team member appreciation events at designated campuses
- Assist Talent Acquisition in tracking and completing all new hire references for all Team Members to ensure compliance
- Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor
What you'll need:
- Must have, as a minimum, one or two year’s previous experience in an office setting
- Must have strong technology proficiency
- High School or GED equivalent required
- Experience with document management and data entry desired, though not required
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills needed
Compensation is $21 - $23 per hour, based on background and experience and includes our comprehensive benefits package
