Overview:
We are seeking an experienced VP of Operations to lead and scale end-to-end manufacturing operations for a growing dairy production business. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring product quality and safety, optimizing supply chain performance, and delivering against cost and efficiency targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all plant operations including production, processing, packaging, maintenance, and distribution
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve margins
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, quality, and regulatory standards (FDA, USDA, HACCP, SQF)
- Lead and develop plant leadership teams; build a high-performance, safety-first culture
- Manage P&L for operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Partner cross-functionally with supply chain, quality, R&D, and commercial teams to meet customer demand and innovation goals
- Implement and scale systems, processes, and KPIs to support growth
- Oversee capital projects, capacity planning, and facility expansions
Qualifications:
- 10–15 years of operations leadership experience in food or dairy manufacturing
- Proven track record managing large-scale production facilities and multi-site operations preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety and regulatory compliance standards
