Server Assistant/ Bar Back/ Busser

Responsibilities

• Assist servers and bartenders by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and refilling supplies to ensure efficient service.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, bar stations, and restrooms through regular cleaning and sanitation.
• Support food handling procedures by ensuring proper setup, delivery, and presentation of food items.
• Restock service stations with necessary supplies such as utensils, napkins, glassware, and condiments.
• Help with setup and breakdown of dining areas during shifts to uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly.
• Support catering events or special functions by assisting with setup, serving, or cleanup as needed.

Qualifications

• MUST be available Thursday through Sunday.
• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
• Strong cleaning skills with an eye for detail to maintain a spotless environment.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests.
• Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures.
• Experience working in kitchens or hotel environments is a plus but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of the food industry standards related to serving, bussing, and hospitality practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks comfortably.
