The Director of Fund Development supports the Vice President of Fund Development in leading, implementing, and managing strategies to grow the organization’s fundraising efforts. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Fundraising & Planning
- Support the VP in developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage select fundraising initiatives, campaigns, and projects to meet established revenue targets.
- Track and report on fundraising performance metrics, trends, and opportunities.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, prospects, and corporate partners.
- Lead stewardship activities to ensure donors feel valued and connected to the organization’s mission.
- Collaborate with the VP to develop donor recognition and engagement strategies.
- Identify and research new grant and sponsorship opportunities.
- Partner with the VP and development team to write proposals and manage reporting requirements.
- Maintain relationships with funding partners and ensure compliance with funding agreements.
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of select fundraising events and campaigns.
- Collaborate with marketing and programs teams to maximize visibility and donor engagement.
- Monitor event ROI and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Supervise development interns, and volunteers as assigned.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate fundraising strategies into organizational priorities.
- Serve as an ambassador for the organization at community events and donor functions.
