Summer Camp Staff
Location: Camp Tanglewood, Augusta GA
Training Dates: May 26, 2026 to May 29, 2026, located at Camp Martha Johnston, Lizella GA.
Dates: June 21, 2026 to July 7, 2026.
Positions:
Assistant Camp Director – This candidate will need to be able to work the entire camp season (May 26, 2026 to July 10, 2026) and transition between two other camps located in Savannah GA and Augusta GA.
Operations Director - This candidate will need to be able to work the entire camp season (May 26, 2026 to July 10, 2026) and transition between two other camps located in Savannah GA and Augusta GA.

Essential Job Functions:
Assist in the direction, supervision, and organization of campers in their camper group within activities and throughout the camp in order to meet the intended camper outcomes.
Participate in the development and implementation of program activities for campers within the mission and outcomes.
Take personal responsibility for maintaining high standards in conduct and carrying out job duties to ensure safety, wellbeing, and positive experience in all activities for campers and staff.
Be a role model to campers and staff in your attitude and behavior.
Represent the camp when interacting with parents or community members.
Other Job Duties:
Provide supervision for campers while campers are transported to and from camp or during scheduled field trips off camp property.
Contribute to verbal and written evaluations and communication as requested.
Willing to live in a camp setting and work irregular hours delivering programs in the available facilities. Overnight stay is required.
Operate with daily exposure to various weather conditions.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age and a high school graduate or equivalent.
All positions must have or be able to obtain a certificate in First Aid / CPR by May 26, 2026.
Lifeguard position you must have a certificate in Lifeguard, Water Safety Instructor, or Waterfront Lifeguard by May 26, 2026.
Health and Wellness position you must have a certificate in EMT, CNA, LP, or RN by May 26, 2026.
Must be able to walk on uneven ground.
Must be able to push and/or pull 25lbs.
Must be able to lift 25lbs.
Must be able to work in outdoor climate.
Ability to interact with all age levels.
Ability to relate to youth and adults in a positive manner.
Must pass criminal background screen and drug test.
Daily pay range: $60.00 to $150.00

Pay: $60.00 - $150.00 per day
