Description
- Packs cases of specific counts of product and palletizes to specific pallet patterns.
- Feed the line with packaging material
- Visually inspect product for quality requirements such as code dates, labeling/printing, damage, leakers or any other defect.
- Perform and register quality checks for fill weights and conformance to spec
- Perform film roll changes.
- Notify supervisor of any discrepancies, quality issues or downtime superior as 15 minutes
- Assure that SOP’s, GMP’s and safety rules are strictly followed
- Complete production reports (allocation downtime and board updated)
- Responsible for ERP Transactions (print LPN) or labels pallet with specific documents in case of system down
- Fill the startup check list
- Housekeeping
- Able to start and stop machine
- Other activity requested by supervisor (rework for example)
- Help with sanitation
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Read, write, speak Basic English
- Must be able to perform repetitive lifting up to 50 Lbs.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to collaborate and communicate with others team member (material handler/operator) and work effectively in a team environment
- Must be able work independently with minimum supervision while prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines
- Detail oriented work habits
