Kitchen Worker Full Time

This regular full-time position performs a variety of tasks that support the operations of Dining Service. 

Full time which includes Saturday and Sunday

The shift will be determined.   

Work hours may vary as needs arise.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Sweep and mop dining room, pantry and kitchen floors per sanitation schedule.

• Wash pots, pans and other cooking utensils.
• Operate automatic dishwashing machine.
• Maintain sanitation of kitchen equipment per sanitation schedule.
• Clear, wash and set-up tables after each meal.
• Clean and fill all condiments, cereals, etc. after each meal.
• Work serving line in dining rooms.
• Maintain salad/deli bar and beverage machines in dining rooms.
• Comply with standard kitchen/food safety guidelines, procedures and regulations.
• Assist with the receiving of supply orders.
• Assist in the Staff Dining Room.
• Performs related work as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to read and write
• Must have High School Diploma
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Prior food service experience preferred.
• Candidates must be customer service oriented, organized and detail oriented, and able to adhere to food handling/safety guidelines.
• Able to stand, walk, stoop, bend and carry to perform the responsibilities of a kitchen worker.
