What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary Reading Curriculum Writer position at GIRARD ESTATE?
Position start ASAP to July 10th
Duties:
- Create individualized and/or small groups scope of learning based on students strengths and needs for the entirety of the program.
- Utilize existing curriculum programs including, but not limited to: Arts and Letters, FUNdations, Wilson, IXL.
- Identify any additional resources needed, and liaison with the Summer Program Coordinator and EMS Administrative staff to obtain.
- Provide training to summer teachers on overall scope and expectations of the reading program.
- Ensure alignment with Arc or Learning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Literacy, Reading, or related field preferred
- Experience developing reading curriculum or intervention programs
- Knowledge of Arts and Letters, FUNdations, Wilson, IXL, or similar platforms preferred
- Ability to create differentiated learning plans for individual and small groups
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Experience training or supporting instructional staff preferred
- Ability to align curriculum with academic standards and program goals
- Ability to complete tasks within program timelines
