What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary Math Curriculum Writer position at GIRARD ESTATE?
Math Program Writer-Stipend upon completion of tasks ($740)
Position start ASAP to July 10th
Duties:
- Create individualized and/or small groups scope of learning based on students strengths and needs for the entirety of the program
- Utilize existing curriculum programs including, but not limited to: Eureka Squared, Zearn, and IXL.
- Identify any additional resources needed, and liaison with the Summer Program Coordinator and EMS Administrative staff to obtain.
- Provide training to summer teachers on overall scope and expectations of the math program.
- Ensure alignment with Arc or Learning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or related field preferred
- Experience developing math curriculum or intervention programs
- Knowledge of Eureka Squared, Zearn, IXL, or similar platforms preferred
- Ability to create differentiated learning plans for individual and small groups
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Experience training or supporting instructional staff preferred
- Ability to align curriculum with academic standards and program goals
- Must be able to complete tasks by July 10th
