Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and transactions
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing guest needs
- Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cash handling duties
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces following sanitation protocols
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy environment
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Support team members with food preparation, serving, and other duties as needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
Experience
Candidates with previous experience in food service, restaurant operations, or the food industry are highly desirable. Skills such as food preparation, cashiering with POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS), quick service restaurant experience, and knowledge of sanitation standards are valuable assets. Experience in retail math or grocery store operations can also be beneficial.
