Giorgio Armani Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and client-focused Tailor to support our boutique operations and deliver an exceptional level of craftsmanship that reflects the precision, quality, and aesthetic of the Armani brand.
This role is responsible for executing alterations with the highest standard of accuracy, ensuring garments fit each client impeccably while upholding our commitment to luxury service.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform all alterations, fittings, and garment adjustments in alignment with Armani’s quality standards and tailoring specifications.
· Conduct client fittings, offering expert guidance to ensure optimal fit, comfort, and garment presentation.
· Maintain exceptional attention to detail in all stitching, construction, and finishing techniques to preserve designer integrity and silhouette.
· Ensure the tailoring workroom, tools, and equipment remain clean, organized, and fully operational.
· Accurately track all alterations, maintain documentation, and ensure timely garment completion.
· Support private fittings, special client appointments, and high-value sales requiring tailoring expertise.
· Provide clear, professional communication with clients, store leadership, and team members to ensure seamless coordination and elevated service delivery.
· Uphold Armani’s luxury service standards, ensuring every client receives personalized, high-touch experience.
· Demonstrate proficiency across men’s and women’s tailoring, including suiting, ready-to-wear, and delicate or specialty fabrications.
Qualifications
· Minimum of 4 years of professional tailoring experience, preferably within luxury fashion, high-end menswear/womenswear, or designer brands.
· Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabric types, and finishing techniques.
· Ability to perform precise alterations while preserving garment proportion, silhouette, and overall craftsmanship.
· Excellent communication abilities, with the capacity to articulate tailoring recommendations and partner effectively with clients, sales teams, and store leadership.
· Strong time-management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced boutique environment.
· Flexible scheduling availability, including weekdays and weekends, to support business and client needs.
· Professional presence, reliability, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
The appointed candidate will be offered an hourly rate within the range of $30.00-$34.00, with a comprehensive benefits package including: paid time off, parental leave, disability leave, bereavement, employee discount/perks and retirement plans with employer contributions.
