Responsibilities
- Deliver prepared food orders from the kitchen to guests’ tables efficiently and accurately, ensuring presentation standards are maintained.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing to meet quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to coordinate order delivery and special requests.
- Uphold food safety standards by handling dishes and utensils properly and adhering to sanitation protocols.
- Provide excellent guest service by being attentive, approachable, and responsive to guest inquiries or requests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety guidelines, and sanitation practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Experience with banquet service, catering, or hotel food service is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk quickly between tables, and lift moderate loads when delivering dishes or clearing tables.
