As the Floor Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our daycare center. Your responsibilities will include supervising staff, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and creating a safe and nurturing environment for both children and team members. You'll work closely with the management team to uphold our core values of integrity, accountability, motivation, and learning throughout all aspects of our academy.
Responsibilities:
- Staff Supervision: Oversee the day-to-day activities of our teaching and support staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they deliver quality care and education to the children.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure the smooth functioning of the daycare center by managing schedules, staffing levels, and resources efficiently.
- Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe and secure environment for children and staff, adhering to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Quality Care and Happiness: Prioritize the well-being and happiness of the children, working closely with staff to ensure each child's individual needs are met, fostering a positive and nurturing atmosphere.
- Communication with Parents: Foster open and transparent communication with parents, keeping them informed about their child's daily activities, milestones, and any relevant updates.
- Conflict Resolution: Address any conflicts or issues that may arise among staff, parents, or children, promoting a positive and respectful environment for all.
- Training and Development: Identify staff training needs and work with the management team to implement professional development opportunities to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Resource Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies, equipment, and educational materials to support a well-equipped learning environment.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of children and staff during unforeseen events.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role, preferably in an early childhood education setting.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of licensing and regulatory requirements for daycare centers.
- Passion for early childhood education and creating a positive and nurturing environment for young children.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $14.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- Weekends as needed
