We are looking for an experienced manager to join our growing team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our Commercial Projects and Commercial Project Managers.
Position Overview: As the Manager of Commercial Projects, you will play a key leadership role in managing and supporting the Project Management team to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to drive successful project outcomes and contribute to the continued growth and success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the performance and activities of the Project Managers, providing guidance and support for project execution.
- Oversee the commercial bidding process to ensure growth while maintaining high quality and meeting growth goals.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Manage client relationships and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize processes and resolve operational issues.
- Provide regular reporting to senior leadership regarding project status and financial performance.
- Mentor and develop Project Managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the commercial construction or flooring industry.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues quickly and effectively.
- A results-driven mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Experience with flooring project management software (e.g., QFloors, Floorzap) is a plus.
