PURCHASING COORDINATOR

Salary: $24 - $26 per hour

Job Type: Non-Exempt

Job Summary: We are in search of a highly motivated professional to join us as the Purchasing Coordinator. This role holds a central position within our organization, focusing on enhancing customer and field employee satisfaction by quickly responding to parts and equipment order needs. We're seeking an individual who values relationships (as our technicians are as much a customer to this individual as our actual clientele and our vendors). This individual will need to be very reliable, detail oriented, diligent in seeking most cost-efficient vendors, accurate and timely with accounts payable, expedient in placing orders, and able to multi-task effectively. Moreover, this role will actively contribute to a supportive peer network, encouraging collaboration on best practices for continuous improvement within our purchasing department.

Reports To: This individual will report directly to the Project Manager.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ability to work interdepartmentally to achieve high customer and employee satisfaction.
• Resolve escalated product order issues promptly.
• Achieve parts/equipment order time KPI of 24 hours or less.
• Identify price increases in parts/equipment and work diligently with vendors to obtain best pricing.
• Work with direct supervisor to ensure the purchasing process is followed by all members of the business.
• Assist with monthly warehouse inventory counts.
• Verify all accounts payable are accurate and ensure the accounting department receives all payables in a timely manner.
• Excellent communication and active listening skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with problem solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and technology.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)`
• 2 years of purchasing experience including working with vendors and data tracking.
• Previous experience in an HVAC or Plumbing industry is a plus.
• Service Titan experience is a plus.
