What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tire Technician position at Gillmann Services, Inc.?
Gillmann Services is now hiring a Tire Service Technician in the Wytheville area!
Position would require shop work as well as regular service calls in company vehicle.
Duties:
- Installation and balancing of auto and light truck tires, medium commercial and heavy agricultural/ industrial tires
- Patching of tires and checking of wear patterns, pressure, valve quality
- Work with team to tackle vehicle maintenance, diagnostics and repair
- Use company vehicle to perform service calls, on-site tire repair/ replacement/ maintenance
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50-75 pounds routinely
- Background in automotive and tire industries preferred
- Ability to pass a drug test, DOT physical
- Must have a driver's license and clean MVR, willingness to obtain CDL D
- Familiar with all required hand and power tools required
- Strong customer service skills
