What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Laborer position at Gillmann Services, Inc.?
Gillmann Services is seeking candidates to work with a national production events design company setting up hospitality tents and unloading trucks. We are seeking labor help that can work 11 hour days, 6-7 days a week for the next 10 weeks as we prepare for the event. You will be doing heavy labor work, unloading trucks. Hauling equipment, couches, chairs and other necessary items needed to create custom spaces for this event.Once the event is over, we will then tear down everything and store it away. Duties
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the facility.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in various utility tasks.
- Support various departments by performing tasks such as loading and unloading materials, moving supplies, and assisting with inventory management.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Experience
- Previous experience in a utility or maintenance role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate basic hand tools and machinery safely.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills.
