Metal Stud Framer

Gillmann Services is now hiring carpenters with extensive metal stud framing and drywall experience for a commercial project near Spartanburg, SC. Project duration one year or more.

Start ASAP. Pay $25-30, working 12 hour shifts. 13 days on, one day off.

Responsibilities:

- Accurately measure and cut metal framing for installation

- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate installation of studs

- Perform all steps of drywall hanging as a team

- Hang walls, top-outs, ceilings, insulated metal panels

- Inspect framing surfaces, materials for imperfections, mark for repair- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area- Use all required hand and power tools

- Other duties as required

Requirements:

- 3 years experience with metal stud framing, drywall installation- Knowledge of all required hand and power tools, have own hand tools for work required

- Experience with all types of commercial drywall boards- Ability to make accurate measurements using tapes, squares, straightedges etc.- Ability to work without direct supervision and maintain productivity

- Must consent to and pass a background check and drug test

- Must adhere to onsite safety and PPE guidelines at all times

- Must have reliable transportation and be available to work hours specified (12 hours/day, 13 days on 1 day off)
