Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our metal fabrication shop. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for assisting the operations manager in smooth shop floor operations, and supporting our growth as a start-up company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and enhancing daily operational workflows to increase productivity
- Coordinate inventory, purchasing, and logistics
- Implement and drive a quality process to ensure good product is being produced
- Collaborate with leadership to implement processes and continuous improvements.
- Prepare reports on efficiency, inventory and production
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Be actively involved in problem-solving, and process optimization.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years experience in logistics, administration and or operations
- Metal fabrication experience is preferred
- Any experience in metal fabrication is highly desirable
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, excel and powerpoint)
- Any MRP experience is highly desirable
- Commitment to fostering continuous improvement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
