Demolition Labor

Gillmann Services is looking for Demolition Laborer to join our construction team, supporting various construction projects. The successful candidate will assist in safely and efficiently dismantling structures, removing debris, and preparing sites for new construction or renovation activities. This role is vital to ensuring project timelines are met while adhering to strict safety standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and experience in demolition and related construction tasks.

Requirements

• Prior experience in construction demolition or related fields is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic heavy equipment operation.
• Knowledge of building construction processes including framing, masonry, plumbing, electrical systems, and finishing trades.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Experience working on outdoor construction sites with exposure to varying weather conditions.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to demolition activities.
• Familiarity with construction management principles and estimating processes is a plus.
• Excellent physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
• Valid certifications in OSHA safety standards or specialized equipment operation are advantageous.
