KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Maintenance and Repairs:
- Conduct apartment turnover duties including cleaning, repairs and painting
- Complete all work orders in a timely manner, maintain accurate records, preventative maintenance, and site and grounds inspections
- Perform various duties such as building repairs and snow removal/shoveling to provide residents with a clean and well-maintained living environment
- Complete emergency repairs as required
- Perform on-call responsibilities as part of an on-call scheduled rotation
Grounds, Equipment and Operational Upkeep
- Maintain property grounds through daily inspection, clean-up, and preventative care
- Maintain and care of equipment as necessary for its continuous operation
- Maintain inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment
Compliance, Safety and General Support
- Comply with site safety and hazardous communication standards
- Deliver resident correspondences as requested
- Perform any additional tasks as requested
- Abide by all local, state and federal Fair Housing guidelines
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Gillespie Group is an in-person workplace.
- We value in-person collaboration and live by the motto “work hard – play hard.”
- All team members are expected to work onsite Monday through Friday during standard business hours, unless otherwise specified by their role or designated shift.
- Physical Requirements: Prolonged physical activity that requires the ability to exert up to 20 lbs of force consistently and 50 lbs of frequently, the ability to move or lift up to 100 lbs occasionally. Ability to frequently operate standard tools, travel by car between properties and the ability to climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Requirements
- High school diploma, general education degree or related Vocational Training and general basic knowledge of plumbing, appliances, mechanical, electrical, drywall repair, HVAC systems, and carpentry experience or an equivalent combination of education/experience.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency to ensure all service requests are responded to in a timely manner.
- Ability to display effective communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Gillespie Group requires a background and drug screen as a condition of employment and passing of required physical testing.
- A valid driving license, vehicle, and current automobile insurance are required.
- The position requires individuals to furnish their own vehicle to fulfill all the job’s functions.
