What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse and Delivery Logistics Manager position at Gilles Service?
We are a commercial fitness equipment service, delivery and installation provider located in Evansville, Indiana, and we are looking for an individual to oversee the following:
- Delivery/installation scheduling for both residential and commercial customers
- Warehouse inventory tracking
- Delivery team management, scheduling and communication
- Maintaining an accurate and consistent delivery calendar, readily available to all remote and local staff
- Corresponding sales team communication and coordination
- Delivery vehicle service management (scheduling oil changes, DOT inspections, etc.)
- Customer invoicing
Our delivery team currently consists of six individuals, and covers Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee, with occasional installations taking place outside of those three states. We are ready to expand, and are looking for someone to supervise and maintain all of the operational components of our delivery and installation department. This includes providing our sales team and ownership with a consistent and current warehouse inventory status.
Communication skills are key, and are a requirement for this position. Experience with Microsoft Excel, along with Quickbooks, are preferred, but on-the-job training will also be made available, if necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
