Gillece Transmission services all makes and models, Foreign and Domestic Cars, Automatic Transmissions, Trucks, Manual Transmissions, SUV's, Clutches, Buses, Transfer Cases, Motor Homes, Differentials, Heavy Duty Trucks.
The Big Task:
· Our Transmission rebuilder position is responsible for repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining transmissions in vehicles such as cars, trucks, and other automotive vehicles. This involves disassembling, inspecting, cleaning, and reassembling transmissions, as well as replacing or repairing damaged or worn parts.
Responsibilities:
· Diagnosing transmission problems: A transmission rebuilder must be able to diagnose the root cause of transmission issues and identify which parts need to be replaced or repaired.
· Disassembling and inspecting transmissions: The rebuilder will need to remove the transmission from the vehicle and take it apart to identify which parts are worn, damaged, or otherwise in need of repair.
· Cleaning and reassembling transmissions: Once the transmission has been inspected, the rebuilder will clean the parts and reassemble the transmission, replacing any damaged or worn parts.
· Testing transmissions: After rebuilding a transmission, the rebuilder must test it to ensure that it is functioning properly.
· Maintaining records: The rebuilder must keep detailed records of all work performed on transmissions, including what parts were replaced and any issues that were identified during the rebuilding process.
· Following safety protocols: Transmission rebuilders must follow all safety protocols when working on transmissions, including wearing protective gear, using proper tools and equipment, and following established procedures.
· Communicating with customers: The transmission rebuilder may need to communicate with customers to explain the work that was done on their transmission and answer any questions they may have.
Requirements:
* Must have your own tools
* Must have at least 2 years experience with rebuilding automatic and/or manual transmissions.
Schedule: Full time Monday - Friday

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
