Who We Are Looking For
Document Technical Specialist I is the first level in the series of roles responsible for the document review and data input into the applicable Program Lifecycle Management system for engineering projects. This is an entry-level position with no direct reports that reports directly to the Lead Engineer Technical Services. Maintains good working relationships with engineers, supply chain, suppliers, quality, production staff, and outside contractors.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions.

What You Will Do
- Performs data input of document information, under general supervision.
- Secure documents for archiving and per EN9100 quality system.
- Coordinate final sign-off of documents with the requisite engineering lead.
- Review engineering for accuracy to applicable engineering quality management processes.
- Review supplier data for accuracy.
- Provide support to fellow employees in retrieval of documents for their work.
- Assume responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication, coordination, and working relationships with area staff and management.
- Assume responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of aircraft design concepts, industry design standards, and FAA regulations.
- Experience in data entry.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent understanding of Company operations and needs.
- Able to prioritize projects and multitask.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand Standard English, including technical, engineering related vocabulary, for technical and general work correspondence and work products.
- Must be able to adhere to all established safety policies, processes and procedures.
