Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepares financial reports by performing the following duties: compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and documenting transactions.
- Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and prepares balance sheet and other reports to summarize current and projected financial position.
- Reconciles the General Ledger and Balance Sheet for purposes of accurate reporting on enterprise financial statements.
- Develops and distributes various financial information to directors, the executive vice president of finance, chief executive officer, board of directors, entities of the tribal council and others as directed.
- Performs inquiries and researches as necessary of all deposit accounts.
- Works with enterprise departments to resolve deposit discrepancies as they occur
- Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.
Skills/ Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED and two (2) years of accounting, bookkeeping or related experience.

- Must possess excellent guest service skills, strong telephone etiquette, and be a self-starter with the ability to follow-up and complete tasks in a timely manner with minimum supervision.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as well as to gain the cooperation of guests and fellow team members.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
- This position must have, or an ability to acquire within one year, an in-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of Enterprise Policies and Procedures, governmental regulations, and technical rules relevant to their responsibilities.
