Machine Operator, Canton, MI
1st shift - Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM to 4:15 AM - ( with opportunities for overtime, Friday and Saturday )
2nd shift - Monday - Thursday 4:30 PM to 2:45 AM - ( with opportunities for overtime, Friday and Saturday )
Required Skill Set:
- Understanding of tool wear
- Tool changes and offsets
- Automation – robots and ability to work through select alarms (any experience a plus)
- Operator efficiency
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to stand for 10 hour shifts

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate various machines, such as CNC's, Coin Presses and Dial's.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively
- Ability to stand for 10 hour shifts
- Train other employees on equipment when necessary
- Meet quality standards
- Maintain production standards.
- Maintain a clean work area.
Working Conditions.
Industrial Plant setting. Continuous exposure to noise. Safety protection is required. Must wear safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection and work in a safe manner at all times. Must strive for continuous improvement. Overtime is required.
