Local Landscaping and Masonry company looking for a career minded employee to join our team. We are looking for an additional dedicated member to fulfill a Commercial Landscape Account Manager position. Applicant must be experienced with Commercial landscape clientele. This is a full time position with possible Saturday's needed. Most book of work is Fairfield county area. Snow services will also be expected of the Commercial Landscape Account manager. This is a leadership role, consisting of but not limited 10-12 landscape install and maintenance crews. Account Manager is also responsible for selling additional enhancements and services above the book of work provided to our clients.
The applicant responsibilities will include but not limited to:
-Ability to manage crews up to 25 employees
-Lawn, landscape and snow operations needed on a commercial level
-Responsible for overseeing Commercial Snow services
-Responsible for managing and directing all company wide commercial snow operations with foreman. Performing snow removal services
-Ability to oversee all projects sold by account manager as well as additional
-Maintaining a budget for all projects as well as cost tracking ongoing projects
-Computer skills, including Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint, etc.
-Must be very good at communicating with clients and office staff
-Highly organized
-Ability to train new staff members for new landscape positions
-Ability to provide our clients with great customer service and reputable work
-Must monitor and track for job tracking, performance on projects and maintenance and ensure quality of completion while mindful of budget
-Must have a active Connecticut Drivers License
-A pesticides supervisory license is a plus
Responsibilities and Duties
-Will maintain a schedule for crews
-Responsible for overseeing crews production, quality control and time management
-Meeting with clients for monthly inspections, enhancements and relationships
-Meeting with crew members weekly for safety meetings and truck inspections
-Weekly meetings with office staff for master scheduling, sales approaches and business strategy
-Must be able to handle pressure of job completions, equipment and managing of personal at all times
-Responsible for daily morning crew startup, leaving shop in under 10 minutes, afternoon shutdown and truck and machinery preparation for the following work day
-Will meet with new and current clients for selling enhancements and additional projects or services
-Ensure all preventative maintenance is upheld for crews equipment and trucks
-Responsible for the training of crew members, efficiency and safety
-Must be very good and comfortable with customer service relations, communication skills a must for clientele, office and crew members in field
Qualifications and Skills
Must have a minimum of 4-5 years of Landscape Account management experience
A pesticide supervisory license a plus
Valid CT Drivers License
CT Commercial Drivers License a plus
Bi-lingual a plus (English and Spanish)
