& & Power Electronics Engineer: Rate $50/hr Location:& New freedom , Pennsylvania& Bs degree in electrical / electronic with 5 year experience in power electronics with experience in design front end and invertersknowledge of IPM motor control and perform simulations and analyses of power circuits and develop HIL platforms on power electronics circuitsknowledge of inverter and switching devices and perform thermal calculations and characterization of structuresexperience with hardware design, prototyping and testhands on experience with measurement and diagnostic instrumentationnt and diagnostic instrumentation.key Responsibilities- Design Development- Create and optimize converters, inverters, rectifiers, and power supplies.- Work with semiconductors (IGBTs, MOSFETs, SiC/GaN devices) for high-efficiency designs.- Testing Validation- Conduct simulations and lab tests to validate performance.- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.- Troubleshooting Support- Perform root cause analysis for failures in power systems.- Provide L3-level support for complex issues in industrial or consumer applications.- Integration Collaboration- Integrate power electronics into larger systems (EV drivetrains, renewable energy grids, aerospace systems).- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, and systems engineers).- Innovation Research- Explore new materials (SiC, GaN) for next-gen power devices.- Contribute to cleaner energy solutions and smarter grids.
