Position Summary
The Speech-Language Pathologist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in pediatric populations. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and committed to delivering evidence-based services while collaborating with families, educators, and other professionals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and therapy goals.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress notes, and reports.
- Participate in IEP meetings when applicable.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and payer requirements.
Qualifications Required
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Georgia Speech-Language Pathology License.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or Clinical Fellow (CF) eligible.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations.
- Experience in private practice, schools, or early intervention settings.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and teletherapy platforms.
