Responsibilities
Mammography Techs are specialized healthcare professionals who use medical imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of the breast tissue. Mammography Tech job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Operate the mammography equipment, positioning patients correctly for the imaging procedure
- Review patient images and ensure that all images are of sufficient quality for diagnostic purposes
- Take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure
- Perform breast ultrasound and other breast-imaging procedures
Salary : $2,117 - $2,352
