About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Direct Import Assistant to join our team. This role is responsible for managing international orders, coordinating shipments and supporting inventory control.
You'll play a key role in inventory analysis, ensuring smooth processing of import documentation, maintaining accurate records, and supporting communication between internal teams, vendors, and overseas partners.

About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Direct Import Assistant to join our team. This role is responsible for managing international orders, coordinating shipments and supporting inventory control.
You'll play a key role in inventory analysis, ensuring smooth processing of import documentation, maintaining accurate records, and supporting communication between internal teams, vendors, and overseas partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate direct import (DI) shipments from overseas vendors.
- Track and manage production timelines, order details, and shipping schedules.
- Support communication with overseas factories, vendors, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor shipment status and resolve delays or discrepancies.
- Shipping documentation preparation, import documentation including invoices, packing lists, and shipping records.
- Perform data entry, validation, and record maintenance with a high degree of accuracy, analyzing inventory levels and control of incoming shipments.
- Assist the Direct Import team with day-to-day administrative tasks (filing, scanning, reporting).
- Help track shipments and ensure timely updates
- Pre-shipment stock analysis
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, import/export, supply chain, or international trade role.
- Basic understanding of international shipping and import processes is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) or ability to learn new software quickly.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
