Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Associate Family Law Attorney located in Doylestown, PA. The Associate Family Law Attorney will be responsible for managing and supporting clients through the various stages of family law cases, including divorce, custody, support, and other related matters. Day-to-day tasks include conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, representing clients at hearings and trials, and maintaining communication with clients to provide them with updates and necessary information regarding their cases.
Qualifications
- Legal research and drafting skills
- Experience in family law cases, including divorce, custody, and support matters preferred but not required
- 3-5 years litigation experience; family law preferred but not required
- Ability to represent clients at hearings and trials
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with clients
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and membership in the Pennsylvania State Bar
- Ability to work on-site in Doylestown, PA
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful settlements.
- Proficient in legal research and writing; familiarity with Westlaw is essential.
