Principle Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure all patient records and related documents are managed and maintained timely, accurately, and consistent with all HIPAA and related regulations and requirements.
- Demonstrate knowledge of dentistry procedures, clinic infection control procedures.
- Cleaning and sterilization of instruments, tray and materials setup and taking of x-rays.
- Experience with the use of dental care devices and equipment.
- Assist in scheduling follow-up appointments as patient checks-out.
- Advise patients in oral hygiene and dental care, and follow through with post-visit duties.
- Keep abreast of OSHA and follow guidelines.
- Be aware of Provider/Scheduling synergy, understanding doctor’s treatment planning philosophy to better educate and create sense of urgency for the patients.
- Disinfect treatment rooms and equipment after each patient, document each autoclave cycle on tracking sheet.
- Confirm treatment rooms are stocked, ready, and clean at the beginning of each appointment.
- Maintain inventory and inform appropriate employee of any supply needs, and turn pumps on and off daily.
Salary : $20 - $28
