Job Description
Responsible for assembling a variety of finished products utilizing written process procedures, blueprints, schematics, and job experience.
Position Responsibilities:
· Assemble standard and modified blast cabinets utilizing written procedures, BOMs, blueprints, and basic hand/power tools.
· Inspect and test finished products and sub-assemblies.
· Report all material shortages and documentation errors to the supervisor.
· Maintain a safe and organized workstation.
Role Qualifications:
· High school education or equivalent is required; Tech School training in an electrical-mechanical discipline is strongly preferred.
· Minimum of 3 years experience assembling electro-mechanical equipment or products
· Must own or be willing to invest in commonly used hand tools and measuring devices
Essential Skills and Experience:
· Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
· Ability and desire to learn and apply knowledge appropriately.
· Capable of utilizing a wide variety of hand, power, and measuring tools.
· Understanding and operation of pneumatics and electrical assemblies.
· Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Beneficial Skills and Experience
· Forklift operating experience is desired, but not required.
Physical Requirements
· Work environment includes regular exposure to manufacturing areas that require the use of PPE including safety glasses, hearing, and foot protection
· Must be able to bend, stoop, and stand
Comfortable climbing ladders
Pay: $23.49 - $30.00 per hour
